Anderson High Neighborhoods
Anderson High neighborhoods were built from the 1960’s through the 1990’s. These are very mature neighborhoods with tree lined streets.
These are a part of Austin’s core neighborhoods, and they will always have high demand. There has been almost constant remodeling over the years, and updating is just as active today, as new homeowners move in and modernize. One story ranch homes are especially popular today, because they can be opened up and updated in the mid century modern style.
Homes in the Anderson High area can range from about $200,000 to 1,000,000. But most homes are in the 300,000 to 600,000 range. The median home sale in 2016 was $496,500.

We use a measurement called “months of inventory on market”. This is an indicator of how quickly homes are selling. About 6 months of inventory on market is considered a balanced market.
North Central Austin Neighborhoods – Months of Inventory
In the Anderson High neighborhoods, homes under $500k have only .66 months of inventory. And, homes over $500k are at 1.9 months. This is a very tight market. Demand is strong for these neighborhoods close to central Austin.
