WeLoveAustin.com is a real estate website that was created by Roselind Hejl in the early days of the internet. Roselind was a digital pioneer who created a DIY real estate website that ranked on the first page of Google searches for Austin Texas Real Estate.

Roselind began her career in real estate as a professional home builder with her husband Jim in the 80’s. In the late 80’s after a real estate market crash, they shifted their focus from primarily building homes to selling real estate. For over 30 years, they were one of the top real estate agent teams in Austin, helping numerous people buy and sell real estate. Eventually, they began to design and build homes again as a hobby in the early 2000’s. They kept these homes as investment rental properties, and self managed them.

In 2012, their youngest son Matthew became a licensed real estate agent and joined the family business. Matthew worked as a sales agent on a team with Roselind and Jim, assisted with managing the rental properties, remodeled and built homes, and updated the website weloveaustin.com. The website that Roselind created needed to be updated to function on mobile phones, so Matthew and Roselind recreated the website together on an updated platform.

In 2021, Roselind passed away after a battle with cancer. Jim is retired.
Matthew continues to maintain the website, serve real estate clients, manage his rental properties, and plot future construction projects.
